Hellio everyone,

I'm using Asus P8H77-M LE mobo and Windows 8. There are 2 USB 3.0 ports behind the case, and they are not working. When I plug in a webcam or a keyboard or a mouse into it, Windows does not recognize the device. All my devices are USB 2.0 interface and I have no device that have USB 3.0 interface. All the other USB 2.0 ports work fine. I tried to update USB 3.0 driver but it seems that USB 3.0 driver is not necessary for windows 8. Does anybody can help me? I have many devices with USB interface so I need those 2 USB 3.0 port work. Thanks for any help

I am having the same problem with one of the two front case USB 3.0 ports on my new build. I have a SilverStone SG10 case and ASRock Z87M OC Formula mATX motherboard. I have contacted both companies and they both say it's a hardware problem and to RMA the equipment.

How about webcam? Can a USB 2.0 webcam be connected to USB 3.0 port?

Unfortunately, I do not have a USB 3.0 drive or any USB 3.0 device. Also I tried to plug my USB 2.0 drive to the USB 3.0 port and it did not working, the computer did not recognize it (also not listed in Device manager) :(

However, as far as i know, USB 3.0 port can work with USB 2.0 device. Is it right?

I tried installing a windows 7 driver but I was not able to do it. It said something like "Your computer does not meet the minimum requirement", I don't remember for sure. A USB 2.0 drive also does not work with the USB 3.0 port :(
Haiz, I do not know what to do
