Hello , I'm having a problem when I'm trying to install the wireless card driver , this is a 4-5 months problem , before that I never had issues with my wireless ,but suddenly 4-5 months ago the problems begun.

I took a picture of the blue screen I get whenever I try to install it :

My wireless card is :

Atheros AR9287 Wireless Network Adapter PCI

so I downloaded the driver from the manufacturers and still having the same problem.

Is there any solution to this? besides I don't know if it's because of the wireless shit but every 15-20min when I play a game my computer lose all the control , that means he stops for like 3-4 sec of all activities and I think it's because he lose the internet conneciton for that time (3-4 sec) cause if I'm playing an online game or skyping with someone I simply lagg out and don't hear anything on skype for 3-4 sec , the computer works fine for that time too but is just like he lose the internet connection for 3-4 sec , and I'm absolutely sure is not the internet the problem.

What brand and model is your laptop? It's usually best to get your drivers from the official manufacturer's website and there's usually an history of older drivers, so previous versions should be available. You might also have older drivers on the CDs that came with the laptop.

The driver available on the Acer website dates from 2010 and it seems like it's the original one...

I don't understand exactly what happened or why you're trying to install the drivers to start with? It's probably the same drivers you already had so there's no point in trying to reinstall it.

A quick Google search gave me this website:

http://www.atheros.cz/atheros-wireless-download.php?chipset=38&system=6

Note that this is not the official Atheros website (there doesn't seem to be one) so use at your own risks.

I don't know if you tested your laptop elsewhere (with a different router or access point) just in case it's a problem with the router.

Fixed the problem with the wireless , manage to install it finally , it didn't work any of the drivers on atheros or on the ACER drivers support , installed it with the help of windows.

Tho the problem with the 3-4 sec lose of any trace of internet connection still stands and I tried in multiple places (friends home too see if is the internet connection the cause) and I'm 100% sure is not the internet conection , like I said sometimes is just framing for 3-4 sec every 15-20 min like there is no internet connection , if I play a game that requires internet as well as the skype or any other activity that require internet it just frames and after 3-4 sec is back.
I don't know what to do , changed a lot of LAN drivers and shit , is something from my computer , also tested it with the wireless and it's happening the same .
