I recently built a new PC. However, I cannot get a display on the monitor at all. The monitor works perfectly on my other PC. I have rechecked all my connections, exchanged the MOBO and gotten a bigger PSU. I have reset the CMOS and hard rest. The MOBO just keeps having a short beep and I have been told this means the MOBO is posting. According to the manual a short single beep means Display , keyboard and mouse have been detected but Quickboot is disabled. One thing that I have tried is putting on a different HDD, when I do this I still don't get a picture but I do not here a beep at all. The HDD is from my other PC and its not wiped or anything it still has my OS on it and what not. IDK what this means exactly. I have also tried different RAM and a different videocard. Everything turns on, all the fans, MOBO has green light as well as the Videocard. If anyone can make heads or tails of this I would really appreciate it.
