So I am buying a ASrock Fatal1ty h87 performance mobo and I noticed that 1 pcie is 3.0 x16 running on x16 and the second one is 2.0 x16 running on x4. I want to CF two Radeon hd 7850's. Will the second slot lower performance by much? And is there a big perf gap between x16 and x4 vs x16 and x8?

the gap between x16 and x4 is HUGE, your performance will drop dramatically.. with PCIe 3.0/2.0 x16 and x8, you wont notice the difference....
