Hi.

I recently purchased a HD7990 and have three displays setup. I have my 120hz gaming monitor (DVI Connection), a 60hz secondary (Mini DP to DVI Active), and an LG TV (Mini DP to HDMI Active). Every time I switch on the TV my other two monitors flicker on and off and windows get thrown all over the place. If I move the TV from Mini display port to the DVI port the problem goes away, however I can't get 120hz out of a mini diplay port for my gaming monitor. Can anyone please point me in the direction of a solution.

Thankyou

Have you got a Mac Mini computer. If you have there is a fault with the HDMI Port Apple and Intel have owned up to this one. Apple has issued a download EFI Firmware Update 1.7 on there site. That`s why I am not buying Mac Mini I am using a mac Mini off 2007 also I have Googled this, and the download dosn`t seem to work one guy said he will use it has a doorstop.
From what you have said you have got this Fault with the HDMI Port. It`s a faulty chip from Intel, but Apple are fully responsible. It work`s OK with the Firewire Port, and the Thunderbolt Port. Also have you got the Applecare Protection Plan. I wish you luck.

That`s ok being confused you are not the only one. Seeing you havn`t got a Mac your trouble seem`s to be a mix up with your wiring system. Reading your description it`s got me lost off. Is there not a computer shop that can advise you. I can understand your frustration. I am surprised nobody on this site can help you. If it was me I would get a computer tech guy to come out and sort it out. It would cost you a few pounds, but he would solve your problem. Sorry I could not help.
