I have a Dell 1720 that I can see boots up, there is hard drive on the activity light, but I have no video. Plugged an external monitor and nothing either. I figured it was a video card issue, but now I'm not so sure since I see the fan is not spinning at all.
I ordered a replacement video card, but do you think I should get a replacement fan as well? Or, is it a bigger issue with the system board. One of the other issues is that the battery no longer charges, but the machine works fine on AC power.
