A good 600w psu (80+) would be enough. But the psu you mentioned doesn't have the best reputation, it seems to fail more quickly than you would like. I would recommend Antec, Seasonic, Cooler Master and XFX psu's over that one.

Hmm that seems a bit tight for me.
How far are you going to OC that system? Because that takes more W..

i wouldn't count on it, its close but even if you could it would run on full power and cutting as close as it gets. I would say no. Sorry i know that wasn't the answer you wanted.

The TR2 is a horrible power supply I wouldn't suggest using it in any system. Hopefully you bought it recently enough you can still return it. The tr2 is a tier 5 unit, go for something in the top 3 tiers.

Which is exactly why the TX650 would be the perfect PSU for him! :-)

Funny that the SeaSonic X-Series is labeled as a Tier 1 and I got a faulty one that didn't work.
Talk about bad luck :sarcastic:

It wasn't DOA though. It worked for approximately an hour and a half, and Then I shut it down.
When I tried to power it on again - it just didn't. Was super weird.

Best thing would be to call them directly.
