Enter the amount of Mb you wish our new Partition to be. (Example 5,000 Mb will give you 4.88Gb)
Click 'Shrink', and 4.88 Gb Unallocated Space will be created.
Right click the Unallocated Space and choose 'New Simple Volume'

you can shrink your partition by right clicking on it while in the disk management. unallocated space can then be used to create another partition using third party partition manager or command prompt(admin).
