So, as the title says, i had originally planned an intel machine machine that I would build myself, but my dad has his mind set on me buying a prebuilt:pfff: and my budget sunk a few hundred dollars:(. I went and configured this machine on cyberpower pc, what do you think?

CASE: Raidmax Viper Mid-Tower Gaming Case w/ 1x USB 3.0 Port & Side Window Panel
CD: 24X Double Layer Dual Format DVD+-R/+-RW + CD-R/RW Drive
CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.50 GHz Six-Core AM3+ CPU 6MB L2 Cache & Turbo Core Technology
FAN: Asetek 510LC Liquid Cooling System 120MM Radiator & Fan (Enhanced Cooling Performance + Extreme Silent at 20dBA) (Dual Standard 120MM)
HDD: 2TB WD SATA-III 6.0Gb/s 64MB Cache 7200RPM HDD
MEMORY: 8GB (4GBx2) DDR3/1600MHz Dual Channel Memory (Corsair Vengeance)
MOTHERBOARD: GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3
OS: Linux
POWERSUPPLY: 700 Watts - Cooler Master i700 700W 80 Plus Bronze Certified Active PFC Power Supply
VIDEO: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 2GB 16X PCIe 3.0 Video Card (EVGA Superclocked ACX Cooling )

I will be gaming on a 32" 720p TV

Would it be worth it for me to buy a 770 or just a second 760 in the future?:heink:

Thanks in advance:)

I would go with the newegg one over the cyber power because I was curious how much it would have cost to get my current setup on there... mine cost 1300 and I was at 1600 before the site spazzed out. (Worst mobile sight I have ever visited). I tried to get my build in 3 times all of which ended in me clicking on a link that wasn't visible but I think I may have gone up to 1800.

Anyway when I told my dad I wanted to build mine he thought I was crazy because in his high school they had a class where they built computers. And by built I mean he was sitting there soldering a motherboard together. So when I said build, he thought spending long hours in a garage putting every tiny piece together. I would talk to your dad and find out what he...

What I would suggest doing is buying a monitor. Trust me there is a huge difference. It will make it so much better if you buy a monitor and a 760 will be fine at 900 or 1080p resolutions.

I would talk to your dad and find out what he thinks is involved in PC building. If he thinks its some really difficult thing than ask him to watch a build guide with you. if that doesn't work I would recommend telling him about all the per built horror stories of people getting bad pcs but that may backfire and land you on dells doors step so I won't.
