ok so i recently partially solved an issue with my video card. i had a 24' inch asus monitor and was trying to play games but my video card kept overheating and shutting my computer off. so natrually i clean it out all this other stuff still no avail. saw a coment ona video about this issue and the guy said use an older monitor so i swapped back ot my old gross emachine monitor and wallah it works fine now and my load on the video card with asus monitor while play games like splinter cell black list and a few other 3d heavy games were 99% all the time. i switch to the old monitor and they hover roughly around 60%. anyway besides the point onto the real question.

i dont wanna use this like 5-8yr old monitor i wanna use my nice hd asus monitor. so the question is what can i do with my video card setting to make it possible to use my new monitor short of having to buy a new video card.
