Hi, I have just reinstalled Windows on a new SSD. The SSD is now my primary drive. All my programs are on my HDD which is connected and I want to be able to launch/search and use programs from that 2nd drive. I want to also be able to search for that program easily in the search bar. I have heard people saying that reinstalling the program works but I have a lot of them, it will take years to sort out. If I partition my SSD and my HDD, will it work just like I say? Also, I tried to partition them, but my SSD is in "Disk drive 0" and my HDD is in "Disk drive 1" so I can't connect them together :S I'm not too much of a techy person but any suggestions/help will be helpful. Thanks!

Sorry, it doesn't work that way.
When you double-click (or single-click) an icon to run a piece of software, the information about where that software is located is kept in the Windows Registry file, which is on your C: drive.

You can have software run from another drive (D drive for example) but you have to specify that drive when you're first installing the software.

Did your SSD come with any software to clone your HDD?
That's basically your only option if you don't want to reinstall all of your programs.
