Hello guys i ve upgraded my system to a third generation one , and changed my old HDD with a friend's one . My pc does 4-5 mins to start and 2-3 mins to close ,its very slow in everything , opening pages , and i have sound and freezing problems in games .

Extra Info
Intel i5 3470 3.2 ghz
Geforce GTX 650 Ti OC version 2gb
6gb Ram Kingston hyper x
600w PSU
Atm i got a maxtron HDD non identified RMPS and cache xD( all i know is that it was a bit problematic in past)

So i am thinking of buying a new one ,would a new HDD solve my problem ?

I ve got my system full updated ,each driver one by one ,and bios

Did you do a fresh installation of Windows onto your hard drive, or did the drive already have Windows on it, configured to another system? If the latter, although it may "work," it will never be right, due to driver mismatches.
How much RAM do you have? You could have a faulty RAM stick; test yours with memtest86+.
Is your hard drive light on during game freezes? If so, you could have a developing bad spot, possibly where the swap file is. Deleting and recreating the swap file may help.
What is the brand and model (not just wattage) of your PSU? Unstable power can cause instability.

Yes the light is always on during game freezes and generally freezes.
My psu is e Force 600W(40euros) ,but they said it can easily handle my system and i ve checked my BIOS for that as well . The voltages are fine .In my psu says something bout sata 2 idk whats that

Although I suspect you have a PSU-shaped object, it isn't likely to be contributing to this problem. Treat it like a 400W PSU, and you'll probably be ok, at least unless / until you start getting BSODs and other crashes, not just program hangs.
The drive light being on does suggest there may be a problem with the HDD. Since you've already ordered a replacement, you'll find out soon enough.

I suspected the PSU as well then i talked with an IT friend of my mother .He told me from his experience that in these cases where the light is on its most likely ur HDD and not the PSU cuz it has enough amps to support my system
Thnx for your time :D

What Onus was trying to say is that many lesser known brands will, uhmm, 'stretch' the truth about what their psu's are capable of, perhaps listing peak values instead of continuous values. Some just outright lie. lol

I agree with your tech buddy. older drives lacked tler so when they hit a bad sector the whole system would freeze while the drive attempted data recovery and if recovery wasn't happening it would just sit there...
