Hello, recently i purchased the above components for my new build, and could not get them to function or make any beeps regardless of ram and gpu etc.

I have heard of certain compatibility problems with this combination, but apparently they should work as of bios 1006.

I returned the mobo for a replacement off of amazon, and am wondering what bios normally comes installed on the motherboard, and do you think that these components should function straight out of the box?

Every board shipped from Asus after release of the said CPU should have come with a compatible BIOS. No beeps actually point to a faulty board if a case speaker was used.

Used a speaker, assumed it was the mobo after several tests, hopefully this one will be good.
