Hey, I'm going to build a new pc and need help on some questions
Q1. How much is Overclocking going to help in rendering and specially converting videos?
Q2. How much of work does the CPU do while rendering a video in ratio of the gpu?
I'm mainly planning to do 60% gaming but I do convert videos a lot and also sometimes render, so I just wanted to know the benefits of Overclocking for editing and converting.
My planned build:-
i5 4670k + hyper 212 evo ( just want a minor Overclock like 4.2ghz)
8gb ram
1tb HDD
Asus z87 gryphon
Cx 600w PSU corsair
XFX HD 7870
