Awhile back I decided I wanted to get into gaming again so I had begun to research gaming rigs. After researching tons I decided to put it off for a few months until the new intel processors came out and even when they came out I pushed it off even more until now. I just did a quick little google search and found that the Digital Storm Vanquish machines are actually quite good machines for the offered prices. This will be my first gaming rig, I will need every peripheral needed including a monitor/os/mouse/keyboard with it also. I think I am going to go with the most expensive one which is $1,399. The specs are as follows

Specs:
- NVIDIA GTX 770 2GB
- Intel Core i5 4670K CPU
- 8GB 1600MHz Memory
- Corsair H60 Liquid Cooling
- 120GB Corsair Neutron GTX SSD
- 1TB 7200RPM HDD
- ASUS Z87 Chipset Motherboard
- 600W Corsair CX Power Supply
- DVD-R/RW/CD-R/RW
- Microsoft Windows 7

What do you all think of this machine? Will it be able to run games like Far Cry 3, Crysis, Skyrim, Bioshock Infinite, Tomb Raider, etc...? And what settings do you think are capabale?

Thanks for any help, it is all very much appreciated.

Well, my friend, first things first: I've built computers and purchased them prebuilt. I've ordered from DS, and they are a great experience. Good choice. If I can't fit it into my schedule to build my next rig, DS will receive my business again.

Yes your configuration will run those games, but here's a few suggestions:

Upgrade that SSD to the 240. 120 GB goes fast.
Make sure to upgrade your shipping to one or two day delivery. After ordering my DS rig, the anticipation killed me :D

See the thing is, these systems aren't customizable. They are pre packaged and pre tested and already ready for shipping so they do so within 3 business days, but that also means I cannot add/change anything about them L:/

DS is VERY easy to work with. Call them and tell them what you want, and they will say "OK, we'll make it happen". Like I said, man, I've dealt with them before and they're an absolute joy to do business with.

I have a 120 in my PC and I agree, space goes fast. But on the other hand, there is a reason I got a 1TB secondary. That build actually looks pretty good for the price and I'm a little jealous now haha. I do love that mine is unique though.

I plan to add a 256SSD to mine later on, I would recommend you do to.

Awesome! Thanks for all the help guys.

Besides the 256gb SSD, are there any other suggestions you guys had in mind regarding this rig I should request? Like maybe a better motherboard/ 16gb of ram? Just thoughts, thanks again for the help.

With that SSD bump you'll be solid, dude. But if you insist on spending some more money, you might consider upgrading your monitor to a 120Hz monitor. Oh and don't forget to get your free T-Shirt :)

Do you plan on doing any rendering or editing? If not I'd stick with 8GB. As far as I know that motherboard is fine (assuming its the lower end Asus Z87) do you plan to add a second 770 in the future? If you do you could ask for a HX750 or 850 PSU and you'd be all set for adding a second GPU whenever you wanted.

Edit: here's a link to the 750

Ok guys I called them (since this is the first day they have been open) and they said these machines are already pre built and all so they can't do any modifications. What should I do? Just stick with what I got or maybe a different model? I will hopefully be making my choice in a few hours and order it.

And honestly no other pcs they offer have a better "bang for your buck" and I really like their company.

This pc is NOT customizable / changable from the specs listed. Should I still get it and/or will it run the list of games I provided?

Ok, so just for the novelty of it I build an identical system with pcpartpicker
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1zFWu

The price came to $1471.61, not including some shipping on a few items, and you would have to put it together, overclock it, stress it and you wouldn't get a free t-shirt.

Call them back and pull the trigger, bro. :D
