So here's the current things I have in mind for my build. If I can run BF 4 with cheaper alternatives I'd be glad to hear it. Only games I'll probably play are BF 4, COD, Skyrim and League. I will also be getting a monitor, keyboard and mouse but that's separate.

More about : current 1300 build possibly cheaper alternative
Make sure you get a "K" CPU so you can overclock. Here is a really solid build for $1200. Also, I highly recommend adding a SSD for OS and all programs. Save everything else on the HDD. This build will max out all games on one 60Hz 1080p monitor. Also, I'm sure it'll handle BF4 on Ultra.

The 770 is great, but if you want to game on 1080p 60Hz then a 7970 is more than enough. A 7970 will max out all games, other than Crysis 3. Also, a 7970 is $100 less than a 770.
Are you planning on a 60Hz or 120/144Hz monitor?
I highly recommend sticking with a SSD. When I built my system I didn't add one then a couple months later I did and I was shocked at the difference. It's not about how quickly your computer starts, it's about how everything you do snaps open. It really improves the computer experience in a way that is like going from a i3 to an i7.
EDIT- Actually the 770s have come down in price a bit. You can get a MSI 770 for $400.

Most likely a 60Hz. The SSD sounds nice but at the current moment I won't have much use of it. I will however add one in when i get the chance.Gotta warn yah. If you add a SSD later then you gotta reinstall OS and all programs. Kinda nuisance...I did it and wish I had bought the SSD in the first place.
