Hi all ! am looking on getting one of these cards today or this week to go with my new LG 29EA93-P 29" LED LCD IPS HDMI Monitor :bounce: 
now the price on these two cards are not the same but they look like they do just the same output well from what i can see anyway!! here are the cards
Gigabyte 7970 3GB AMD Radeon Graphics Card & Asus AMD Radeon HD 7970 Matrix Platinum Graphics Card !!

If anyone who's an Greek God when it comes to Graphics and could help me would be great!!!

The performance difference between the cards would be in the clock speed difference. The faster card is not necessarily the better buy if the other one is cheaper since the difference can be made up with overclock.

Consider getting a 7950 with good cooling and great overclocking capabilities. You can bring a 7950 up to the performance of a 7970 running stock, bar you this would void the GPU warranty.

(Within 1-2FPS generally).

Hmmmmm think i will get the 7970 ! as of now am using 2x 7870 HD 2GB cards !

Cheers for that Link Bro help me a lot ! am now going to stick with my 2x 7870's and find out how to change the Voltage as i did use the AMD Catalyst but did not find the option where i can change the voltage !
