Quiet External Hard Drive

Hello,

I have satellite receiver in my bedroom, and have an external hard drive hooked up to it so I can use it as a PVR. The one I have now is loud though - if you set a show to record during the night, when the drive spins up it usually wakes me.

Can anyone recommend a 1 TB (or more) external hard drive that is reasonably quiet?

Going 100% quiet is going with SSD. for 1TB+ storage, go with the WD Green. WD green are really quiet... http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=wd+green
