Hi

I just bought an old Kensington Turboball and I can't figure out how to reprogram the 5 buttons, the only app I can get to work will let me swap the right and left click but that's it. Does anyone know of a program (preferably freeware) that I could use to change what my mouse buttons do?

Kensington cannot help me. they do not support any model which is no longer in production, meaning all of their mechanical models, they only support their purely optical models as far as i can tell. i have 2 older kensington models now a 64227 and a 64213 both of which which have software designed for windows XP and will not be useful for anything but basic left and mouse button use unless i can find a work-around

Sorry that neither of those links helped. If I find a driver I will post a link.

The problem is that the current TUrboworks software does not support the old mice and trackballs and the older software does not work on Windows XP and newer. I use X-Mouse (http://www.highrez.co.uk/downloads/XMouseButtonControl.htm , but also available from CNET and other download sites) and it has been an excellent replacement.
