Any cpu suggestions for Battlefield 4

as you see on thread i need new cpu to run bf4.I recently bought a gtx 660 and my i5 650 bottlenecked my gpu.I cant get even higher frames than my old gtx 550 ti and i want to buy new cpu.should i buy socket 1150 or 1155 and which intel i5 should i buy?

3570k if you go Intel, I would recommend the AMD FX 8350, personally...

In all honesty pretty much any Quad core running around 2.5ghz or above will fill the role youre looking for.

Its not an exact answer but if you look at the graph on that link you'll see the i7 920 (a cpu that came out in 2008) withing 5fps of the (then) brand new sandy bridge E chip (running @ over 4.6ghz compared to the 2.66ghz of the 920). So its not so much of which specific cpu do you need as it is how many cores do you need. That answer being 4, you can back fill the rest of the answer with the best quad core you can afford... then fill in the mobo after that.
