Hot to get rid of windows 8 drivers and install windows 7 without Optical drive?

Hi all,
I have a Lenovo U410 (which has no optical drive) and want to delete system 32 and get windows 7 if that's possible with out an OD?
Any suggestions and help is much appreciated thank you

You could use the windows USB DVD tool to make a bootable USB stick and install windows of that

You don't need to delete anything, when you install 7 everything gets deleted. Just put in the usb which is the easiest way you can install w7. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/31541-windows-7-usb-dvd-download-tool.html

can you use a normal USB stick to do that? obvs I'll need quite a big one for an OS.

Any usb will work and the install is about 3.2gbs. I use a 4gb flash drive myself.

well even windows 8 fits on an 8gb stick with something like 2-4gb~ left over

W8 install is similar size 3.4gb. I also use my 4gb for that.
