Mid range gaming pc NEED HELP WITH MOBO PSU CASE GPU

Hello , i am making a rig for my brother for gaming and other uses.

Please note that i am from INDIA, so the prices here are usually 20-40% more than that in the USA.

Please suggest any change i should make in this build:

CPU- AMD FX 8350 [No i don't want intel]
CASE - NZXT Gamma [Not sure if it's a good one, but it's one of the cheaper ones and i am on a tight budget]
RAM - 2 x Kingston Technology HyperX 4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 Single Channel Kit.
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1 TB HDD SATA 6 Gb/s NCQ 64MB Cache Hard Drive
OPTICAL DRIVE: Asus 24x DVD-RW Serial ATA Internal OEM Drive

The things i have confusion with:
Motherboard : Confused between ASUS m5a97 R2.0 and Gigabyte 990FXA-ud3
Graphics Card: Confused between 7870 XT and GTX 760
PSU : No idea of what to get for the above configuration.

Extra information:
I might SLI/CF but after a minimum of 3years.
I might overclock CPU/GPU after a minimum of 2years.

If you can fit it, definitely grab the Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3. It has the option to crossfire/sli (unlike the 970 chipset), and it overclocks much better.
For the gpu, the GTX 760 is stronger than the 7870xt.
If you plan to crossfire/SLI, you would want about a quality 750w psu from Seasonic, Corsair (no CX series), XFX, Antec (HCG and HCP only).
I would seriously ditch the NXZT Gamma. Try to get a Corsair 200R.

If you can't fit those parts into your budget, it'll be best to grab the FX-8320 instead of the 8350. It's cheaper and the only difference is the 500mhz difference in speed. You can easily overclock the 8320 to 8350 levels.

Thanks for your input and time sir. :D

I would like to keep overclocking as an upgrade path and not start the build itself with overclocking [So I'd stick with 8350 :)]

Also in INDIA the price of Corsair 200R is almost double the NXZT Gamma and almost equal to CM HAF 912.
So if HAF912 is better than 200R, i will try and expand my budget to get a HAF912.

Also i think the ga-990fxa-ud3 is almost 50$ expensive than m5a97 R2.0
So i was wondering if this system will be able to play all the latest games for the next 3years [Reducing the quality each year - from ultra to high to medium :p ] I'd skip the SLI option and just get an Asus m5a97 r2.0 ?

Yeah, the Corsair 200R is in the same price range as the CM HAF 912. However, the 200r is superior. The inside is actually painted (the HAF 912 looks ugly inside and on the back), and 200r is more sturdy and feels higher quality, has usb 3.0 on the front, and has better cable management.

Depends what games you want to play. The GTX 760 can play most current games on ultra, but on the higher end games like ARMA 3 and Crysis 3, you'll have to lower down the quality.

Okay then i'll go with the corsair 200R :D

What do you think will be a better upgrade path :
1. SLI GTX 760 after 3-4years
2. Throw away gtx 760 and get a new card ?

Because if there is no point in setting up an SLI after 3-4years , i'll go with m5a97 r2.0 and a 550W. [Please suggest me a good 550W PSU for gaming ]

Also how good will the fx8350 will be afte 3-4 years?

No one knows how good a certain processor will be in the future, especially in 3-4 years where it's so far ahead. The only thing I can assume is that it should be good for the next 2years.

If you only plan to SLI/upgrade in 3-4 years, it'll probably be better idea to just ditch the GTX 760 and grab a new card. Normally, you SLI in a year or two, but 3-4 years is too far ahead.

For the psu, grab a 550-600w psu from XFX, Seasonic, Corsair (NO CX!), or Antec (High current gamer and High current pro only).

Sorry for the late response.
All my doubts have been cleared, except one.

I read somewhere that it would be better to buy a 990fx mobo because the next gen graphic cards and cpu wont support/work properly on a 970 ?

Well.. with a budget like this. I am sure you should be able to include a good case too.

Anyways Corsair 200R is said to have HDD heating issues as said in a review by Anandtech.com and these guys can be trusted, so I would prefer the HAF 912 more.

Anyways if you do not mind the looks then Bitfenix Merc Aplha is a hell of a case for a very good price and offers stellar thermal performance, which you would need to cool a CPU like 8350 and a good graphics card. So if you do not mind the looks, then go for Bitfenix Merc Alpha. It is one of the best budget cases, in terms of performance, and performance is what we guys prefer way much more over the looks.

Anyways planning a build for you. Will post soon. I am running off an extremely slow connection, so would require some time. Let's see how much can be improved for your budget.

I am sorry man.. I cannot be of much help, just because my Internet is dead from two weeks and I am currently using Internet off my Mobile Phone over 2G Edge network and sites like Flipkart are poorly designed, so I am sorry but I am unable to help since I am getting speeds like 5-10 Kilobytes per second which is riddiculously slow.

I hope you understand my problem.
