Hi everyone,

I have,
Core i5-4330 @ 3.0 Ghz
4GB Ram 1600mhz Kingston hyper blu
MSI H87- G43 Motherboard
MSI HD 7730 1GB DDR5 (OC to 850MHz and 1175Mhz)
Raidmax 500W PSU
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit

I play a lot of games and i always prefer better FPS, i bought these a while back and i only had a little money to buy a VGA (7730) since my GTS 450 wasnt supported by the new mobo or processor, now i have collected some money enough to buy another 4GB 1600 Kingston Hyper Blu ram.

What i want to know is,
should i save this money and collect more and go for a GTX650 ? (within another month)
buy another 4GB ram now ? and keep the HD 7730 for later so i can buy another HD card and crossfire both. (a new card in another 4 months)

Please help , Thanks in advance :)

Why was a GTS450 not supported?
All you should have needed was a pcie x 16 graphics slot.

No game, by itself will use more than 2-3gb, so I would defer on that.

For games and higher fps, buy the strongest graphics card your budget allows.
sli/cf is not an option for you. your second pcie x16 slot only operates at x4
dual low power cards are not good anyway, they are prone to stuttering and lagging. especially amd cards.

You can install a card as good as a GTX760 or 7970 which require a 500w psu.
But, raidmax is a tier 5(not recommended, replace asap) unit on this list:

Since it is now working, I would not replace it.
But, I would also not push it.
A GTX660 or 7950 would be about...

Hello geofelt, i was crying over the GTS 450 to get it working for over a week, and i dint work i tired almost everything possible and i sold it. The buyer said its working fine in his pc, so i had to settle down with the 7730. For now i cannot go for a card like 760 or 7970 because they cost a lot.
I have finally decided not to buy anything now and collect more money and go for a 7850 or a MSI Geforce GTX 650 Ti OC
thank you :)
