I just downloaded drivermax from cnet.I use Windows 7 64 bit - so far no problems after 4 years - sometimes a slow startup - I waded through events log but could not quite ascertain the slowdown issue. anyway drivermax says I have 25 outdated drivers. Should I download them? What are the risks?

Trying to be a good maintainer..

Solution
I always update drivers to currency.
Before you do any updates, take a system restore checkpoint.
That way, you can back out if something really does not work.

Your slowdown is likely caused by other issues.
Check for malware, viruses, and cookies.

If you can stand a windows clean install, it will likely clear your issues.
This might be a opportune time time to install a SSD. You will be amazed at the difference it makes.
