Hello everyone,i am big fan of Dota 2,and since i had very bad graphic card and low resolution monitor i had few bucks to upgrade it,this is my current spec
MSI 7770 HD
Viewsonic VA2342 LED monitor 1920x1080 FULL HD
4 GB ddr2 memory
GA-M52L-S3P Motherboard
AMD Athelon dual core processor 7750 2,7 GHz
I am gamer and i really enjoj playing games, but whenever i play dota i have such a low framerate that its sometimes impposible to play.I seen youtube video (same graphic card*)
watch?v=HNbLFyGoHew,and guy has 60-120 FPS,while i got just about 40-50{with lowest details while he has ultra} (in teamfights it drops to 15-16 fps) and since its MOBA,its almost impossible to do something useful. For a example i play Sniper elite 2 on high and i get almost constant 60 fps,and when i play MW3 With ultra i have 60 fps stable no problem but when i try to play dota 2 i get very low framerate.what seems to be problem,i asked everyone, and when say everyone i really mean everyone but nobody could give me good advice.I reinstalled win 64 and reinstalled all drivers but nothing helps.please guys help me

Solution
The 7770 is from the 7700 series, so that's fine. I have a 7970 and it says 7900 series in Catalyst for me. Judging by the fact that your CPU is running at 2.7 GHz, and having so much usage, I would guess you may need a better CPU. When the CPU usage spikes up to 100% during games, you're going to be limited fps wise.

You should consider looking at the consistency of your internet connection. The -ping command in game isn't always accurate. You should ping google or better yet the DOTA 2 game server in the back ground and refer to that when you see the problem. Another way of ruling this out is playing a game vs Bots, obviously it wouldn't require much of a connection to play one of those games.

Does it do this in other games or Dota 2 specifically? You could try something else as a benchmark like Furmark. If your performance if off on that then it could be something related to your system.

Actually it happens in Hitman Absolution and Dota 2,
When i am playing hitman no matter which resolution or settings (exept high and ultra) i have 30 FPS no matter what.I have no idea wtf is wrong i tried everything,i will post benchmark test in few mins, also if you have any computer engineer please tell him to look at this post, best regards!

I'm not going to be home for several hours to test this on either of my systems. If anyone else can do a quick benchmarking with similar specs that would be awesome.

You said Hitman stays at 30 fps and that sounds like VSync is enabled. If you disable VSync it should go above 30. As for your problems with Dota 2, that is very strange. Just a shot in the dark, but are you getting the low FPS with VSync disabled? Also, do you have Catalyst installed, and if so, what version?

No i dont have vsync enabled.I have 30 constant frames no matter what i do (sometimes it drops to 15-16),also today i found that as time goes on in dota 2 (when i play more then 1 hour) my framerates start to be lower and lowers, sometimes they are dropped to 30 constant (idk why) and it doesnt happen with any other game. Also this ,,drop'' happens randomly, even after 2-3 mins of game.I played 2 hours in row today and it didnt happen, but sometimes it can happen couple of times.Perhaps i need to update processor since its very old (have it for 6 years i think) what you think?

I see you have 13.4 installed, 13.6 was the last stable release, they also made a 13.8 beta driver. Try one of those 2 and see if it changes anything. I've read another thread where people said the Athlon 7750 should be able to handle games without being a bottle neck, I'm not sure if that's true, but you can do the following. Run the game in windowed mode (borderless) and get CPU-Z. Check what the core speed is while running the game using CPU-Z. Also check the task manager at the CPU usage. Take note of the values, and also check the clock speed and CPU usage when it "drops." It could several things now that I think of it. The CPU could be over heating, under clocking itself, or just not powerful enough to run the game. The latter two things can be ruled out with CPU-Z and task manager. Check the CPU temperatures too while you're at it.
