Healthy Temp Requirement

what is the healthy temp or hard disks ?

my sytem is going 43 degree in the half hour so is it good ?
Now problem persisted that overheatig shutdown so what to do for that ?

i have 2.2 GHz core 2 Duo and 2 GB ram no GPU and i haven't changed thermal paste since from last five years so what to do for heating and my area is not to much hot now temp is 23 degree

your at the second post for around the same issue ,1 tell us is this is a laptop or pc tour then you have to clean the old thermal paste and put new one in after dust off all fans and what kind of air flow do you have in the system since my hdd run at 31 c only ?

air should be fresh air from the front and and exit to back ,what is your case model and how many fans you have in and where they are ?

dude its local cabin ate that's hytech no extra fans for cooling just one fan that's on the Processor and other on SMPS

i see dust in the psu vent need to be off also the cpu fan ,you could put a fan as outake in the back that will put hot air out then in the side panel put one as intake to push fresh air in do the same in the front panel if you could this also gone reduce the temp of the hdd ,that is the way air flow work in computer .

dude i cleaned all dust by vacuum cleaner and applied new thermal paste that decreased system temperature but still hard disk is heating nealry at 45 degree within half hour

you dust it with vacuum you been lucky not to have static build in the sytem usualy you use a can of compressed air for your drive use the drive maker tool to test it not only the smart test but a short and full test .

give the hdd name and model i will link you ,the tool is made from them to test the hdd so if there is a issue aand stiil under warranty you could ask fro rma .
