Hi there! So I recently built my very first computer. Here are the specs

Fractal R4 Case
32GB of Corsair Vengeance
Gigabyte GTX 670
Asus Sabertooh X79
Intel i7 3930K

I bought a h80i as a cooler, however it doesn't seem to be working, and I've decided that I want to find a non liquid cooling cooler. I was looking at the Noctua NH-D14, but was told that it won't work with my RAM. I would like to stick with the RAM I have, so I'm trying to find a different cooling option. I also would like to make sure that it is quiet. I replaced the h80i fan with a Noctua one and it was perfect, besides the fact that it wouldn't cool my CPU. Any suggestions?

If the h80i won't cool your cpu something is wrong thats a pretty decent cooler on par with good air cooling like the nh-d14 certainly going to be a problem as all good air coolers tend to be huge the l12 and especially the l9i are a step down
the thermalright true spirit 140 is the best cooler I know for high profile ram http://www.thermalright.com/html/products/cpu_cooler/true_spirit_140.html ive seen benchmarks where its performance scored very well too
