SLI Superclocked 780's vs 7990

Hey, I'm in a bit of a disagreement with someone. After he found out I had plans to pick up a pair of superclocked 780's, he proceeded to tell me that a 7990 will blow the twin 780's out of the water.

Perhaps some of you knowledgeable people could give input on this GPU matchup?
Benchmarks/statistics/factual justification would be highly appreciated!

The 2 780's are going to crush the 7990. It might be tight in a couple of games optimized for AMD, but in general, it's not even close.

+1, 7990 doesn't have a chance until they fix the drivers properly

7990 by itself is 120-130% as fast as one 780, so...
