ASRock Z77 Extreme3 Driver Problems

I just put together a computer using the ASRock Z77 Extreme3 motherboard and Windows 8 (64bit). I downloaded and attempted to install all the necessary drivers - located here: http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z77%20Extreme3/?cat=Download&os=Win864

I am having trouble with 2 of the drivers and was hoping some people here would be able to help.

Firstly, the "CIR receiver driver ver:2.5.1003" installation is failing with this message: "Can't find CIR device!!".

Secondly, the "Intel Rapid Start driver ver:2.1.0.1002" installation is failing with this message: "This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software."

Any help would be greatly appreciated and I will do my best to respond promptly with any other information that you need.

The CIR driver is for remote control, and is not needed. The Rapid start driver is for waking from sleep faster, and is virtually irrelevant when it comes to desktop PC's, especially if it is equipped with an SSD.
