hard drive say full

My computer crashed and I had to restore to factory settings. I thought I lost everything because none of my pictures came up, but all my hard drives show half full or almost full. How do I get that information back on my computer?? Or clean it out.

Do as anonymous1 suggested and look for a directory called windows.old. If that directory exists then it would explain why your hard drive is showing up as half or almost full. You should be able to find the files you are missing in that directory as well.
