Hey guys, first time posting. I'm new to server management and RAID. I can set it up, back it up, use it, but there are things I'm not so knowledgeable at.

My Dell Poweredge 2950 uses raid 5, 1TB WD drive, 7200RPM x2 and 1 500GB WD 7200 RPM, all bought brand new, all SATA. My #1 bay drive starting flashing amber today, and it hasn't been running that long...and I just don't know what to do. I did a backup to be safe, but I really have no clue what to do.

I have a hard time believing it's a failed drive, being brand new and in use for less than three weeks. Thanks guys.
