I am going to get either of these this weekend at TigerDirect since it is a local computer store. They match price Newegg just to let you guys know. Anyways I REALLY don't know which one to get. I have researched IB and Haswell and I know that IB is a better overclocker and uses less power on full load. While Haswell has a better intergrated graphics (don't really care) less idle power and less overclock potential. I do plan to overclock with Corsair H50.
Rumors also going around that the 1150 socket will be dead because of Broadwell CPU socket next year. So I was weary about that.
I am coming from a AMD Phenom II X4 965 so I will expect a big increase of speed. Another thing is I am planning to get the new AMD cards in October so don't tell me to spend it on GPU. So I will need a new motherboard.
Basically I am asking whether the i5-3570k or i5-4670k and a good OC motherboard with Crossfire. No plan to SLI though.
PS: My old Gigabyte motherboard was weird and keep doing: Loading Operating System... - so a good motherboard that DOESN'T do that will be even better.
