AVerMedia Live Gamer HD problem?

I cant figure out how to capture gameplay from my pc. It goes from the capture card to the videocard to the monitor using an hdmi cable???

    Video card to capture card(HDMI). Capture card to monitor(HDMI/DVI adapter included.).

    Sound also has to be sent to the card and then from the card to the speakers I think.
