Suggestions for new PC

Hey there,

I am hoping to build a new CPU. some kind of gaming desktop, but not those hardcore types. And, my budget would be around $1k usd including a monitor. so anyone out there feel free to voice out opinion on which desktop should i get? like what motherboard, video card, sound card and all. thanks !
 
Solution
You can remove the optical drive if you don't want it. There's a sound card integrated in the motherboard. Except if you're going to do some kind of heavy music editing stuff, you won't need a sound card.
