I'm wanting to build a gaming computer and I'm wondering if this is the right direction. I'm starting from scratch and i want it to be under $1300.

Good build overall, would lose the MSI mobo, won't touch them for builds, look to Asus or the Rock, the ASrock Z77 Extreme 4 is about the best selling (and best) Z77 out there
