Hey, guys.

As the 560 Ti in my XPS 8300 died yesterday (I assume caused by 320.18 back then), I have to get a new GPU now.

After some research I fell in love with the Palit GTX 780 Super Jetstream, as it seems to be quite good for Adobe SpeedGrade/After Effects and Premiere as well as gaming with some buffer for the graphical future.
Does anyone have experience with that already? Read somewhere in the forums about the 770 from MSI working with it - 770 from EVGA didn't. The EVGA 680 Classified with 4 GB of RAM are as well an option. But I'm not sure if the extra money for 770 or 780 would be worth it?
As Dell ships originally with a 450W PSU, I've got to uprgrade this as well then. As I read XFX is supposed to be very good, I found the 650/750W 80 Plus Bronze versions, semi- or full-modular. What to take there?

Edit - Found this in the meantime:

I've got Windows 7 on it as well. So it's really just about measurements and the PSU?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Kind regards,

Tim

Into bios,A06 version. If not, DL it on dell website.
On graphics menu, disable "multi gpu", to allow only one graphic set to function. If not, integrated graphics chipset and additional graphic card will work simultaneously.
Save, boot, install nvidia drivers and make sure the last chipset drivers are installed (still on dell website).
Have fun:-)
