Hello,

I have an Asus M4A88T-M LE Motherboard and AMD Phenom™ II X4 975 Processor.

I am planning to upgrade my graphic card from Nvidia 240 GT to Asus NVIDIA GT 630 2 GB DDR3 Graphics Card.

is this compatible and best choice as my budget being only 5k.

Thanks.

No, PCIe is backwards compatible and the card's bandwidth would be dialed back to pcie 2.0 standards. The reality though is neither of those cards can make total use of even PCIe 2.0 let alone 2.1 so there will be no difference is using 2.0 versus 2.1

Considering I don't check around for availability of for places using the INR i'd tell you to go with himanshu's recommendation as he is from Delhi and knows the availability of cards a bit better then I. Still either of the cards we recommended would perform around the same level and reliability shouldn't be much of an issue on a mid tier card of that range as most are built like tanks due to years of rehashing and tinkering.
