Hi, I am attempting a first time build and as such I have a few questions that hopefully someone with more experience can help me out with. :)

It's probably worth pointing out that I am in Australia and will be purchasing all parts from Australian sites/shops.

The PC will primarally be used for gaming, but nothing too demanding. League of Legends will be the main played game, and my three year old dell laptop can max that out, haha. I'll be playing more demanding games such as BF3 etc but maxing out settings is not a big deal if it saves me money.

I'm looking to spend about $700 on the build although I would like to make sure it is upgradable in the future. This price is not including Monitor, Keyboard, OS etc.

This is a list of the parts I am currently looking at:

http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/1zsSG

If anyone could give me a hand in just going over the parts or suggesting better alternatives that would be great. :)

Have I missed any major parts that I need?

Also, au.pcpartpicker.com/ has many other things, such as CPU coolers, Sound Card, Wireless network adapters and Wired network adapters. Do I need all of these?

I apologise for any stupid questions, hence the first time build :)

Thanks for any help.

Start here. http://pcpartpicker.com/parts/partlist/
I think you have cpu /mobo issue. Wrong mobo or cpu? I think that cpu is lga 1150 and mobo lga 1155
Pick parts in pcpart picker and it will tell you what mobo fits you cpu. just pick the cpu first.
Then we can make your build better :)  Maybe not. It was good same lga cpu +mobo. Fine work.
My mistake. Cant remember all cpu numbers :)  Sorry about that.

Then it is maybe better to wait new 1150 cpu to this build. I think they will come out soon.
Or go with 1150 i5? http://pcpartpicker.com/parts/cpu/#c=4

here is two new i3?

http://pcpartpicker.com/part/intel-cpu-bx80646g3420
http://pcpartpicker.com/part/intel-cpu-bx80646g3430

So maybe best take the new one in build.

Thanks for the reply. I looked into your suggested CPUs and seemingly the best for my budget available in Australia seems to be http://au.pcpartpicker.com/part/intel-cpu-bx80646g3220

My updated build looks like this:

Try to fit better GPU. 7870 or 7950 , GTX 760. That 7750 is bottleneck in your build. Good pair with 7750 is Intel 2010 cpu.
Memory ge 1600MHz memory. Or faster if they are same price. And SSD is missing.
PSU is missing too. Try to find cheap good psu like Antec Seasonic, Super Flowe , PC cooling silencer, Rosewill, XFX..
550-650w is enough to this build. Maybe even 450w.with that 7750 video card.
Btw. Intel i5 is better choice. Any i5 is faster than AMD. But if this is where you budget extends. So be it.
It do not matter is the intel 1155 or 1150. They all are faster than AMD. But I do not know how much i5 price is over there. Here they are cheap. Seems like US $ is getting stronger by the day.

Here cheapeest i5 are http://pcpartpicker.com/part/intel-cpu-bx80646i54430 and http://pcpartpicker.com/part/intel-cpu-bx80637i53330

And if you look OC able then 3570k and 4670k are best. Xeons are cheap here too. And if you do not like OC then they are really good choice. Intel xeon 1230V3 is cheap and really fast.
