why is my ram only using 3.56 gb of (8gb ram) this is my pc specs

ASrock G41C - GS board
Pentium 4 2.66ghz lga 775
ddr3 8gb of ram ( 3.56 gb usable )
Nvidia Geforce GT 630 1gb ddr3 ( GPU )
80gb HDD seagate

Post Your OS here , I think if you are using Windows 7 32-Bit then it only supports upto 4GB of RAM, While the 64 bit Version supports 192GB. (I am talking about windows 7 Ultimate)

Heh..he installed the 32 bit version of windows. Only way to fix that is to reinstall, but make sure you put in the 64 bit disk.

you need to grab cpu-z and check your Pentium 4 supports x86-64 as not all pentium 4's supported 64bit x86 extensions
