upgrade old pc or make a new gaming pc

I what to up upgrade my graphics card for my old gaming pc but should i start a new make a new pc

here is a run down of my pc

cpu AMD phenom 2 940 3

8 GB of DDR2 RAM

Gigabyte Motherboard GA-MA770-UD3

ATI Radeon HD 5700

seeing as your stuck on an AM2 board it would be better to upgrade your entire system.

buy a new motherboard with AM3+ socket , take a fx 6350 and a 7850 along with 2x2 GB for ddr3 ram

I'd upgrade the GPU, first and foremost. Take a look at a 7850 or a 7870, both should be adequate.
