Does it have a little switch on it, if so then try to slide it.

OR,
1. Open Start Menu
2. Run, type regedit and press Enter, this will open the registry editor.
3. Navigate to the following path:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\StorageDevicePolicies

4. Double click the key WriteProtect in the right pane and set the value to 0 In the Value Data Box and press OK button

5.Exit Registry.

Try formatting it in Disc Management which you will find in Computer Management.
Start. Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Computer Management, Disc Management in the left hand column, right click on your flash drive and choose format. You may get a message This volume may not be compatible with previous versions of Windows etc ignore this and click ok This is because the pendrive is in FAT format and the hard drive's format is NTFS.
