Water Cooling 101 - Should I or Why Bother ?

This thread is obviously intended to focus on Fittings. What is a worthwhile addition and what is an unnecessary expense ? Again, the THG Water Cooling Sticky is a great place to start.

This thread is intended as a spot to share ideas on the subject of Fittings for connection to components and joining tubing sections. I'll start on what I picked up so far.

Personally, I never water cooled because the appearance of the arcing mish-mash of tubing was just to "disorganized" looking for me. With the aging of flexible tubing the primary "worry" about WC and the appearance of PrimoChill's rigid tubing, the WC option became much more attractive.... to me at least.

While this tubing can be bent, ya still left with fittings to buy..... and here's where this thread comes in.

Looking around, it would seem that the consensus best type of fitting is Compression type.
