This is my 2nd build and i put everything in and no post. I checked the sticky about boot problems and took everything apart and found a bent pin on my processor socket. im almost 100% sure that is the problem and i'm ready to send it back to newegg but i would like a second opinion. Could it still be a processor or power supply problem?

Specs:
mobo: ECS X77H2 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813135340
proc: core i3 3240 Ivy bridge
Ram: 1 8gb ballistix sport
video card:none (getting one later)
power supply: 460 watt cooler master elite

Any help would be great thank you!

So i got the RMA about a week ago and just had a chance to put everything together and still the problems continue. I've reread the post problems and thread and nothing seems to help. Only thing is i dont have a mobo speaker. Since i had no speaker i tried swaping out all the essentials with pieces i knew worked. Same exact model PSU ive been using for a year plus still no post, a RAM stick from another computer (tried in every slot) and nothing, in addition to the brand new mobo. Only thing i havent swapped out is the CPU because i dont have another comparable one. Soooo... by process of elimination it has to be the CPU right?
