hi thank you very much for your answer.I still want to use the unit on my computer, is there other way? the control pod is not working by hooking the receiver i will be able to use the controls.thanks
also can you please give me a brand name and model number for the raceiver.thanks.

@ninja

did you not read what the op said? "my control pod is dead"

@op

as far as connecting them up to a receiver... i saw a source stating the speakers were 62w each. my klipsch quintet ht speakers are rated at 50w (75 max) so i would say yes they would work with a receiver.

seeing as how the sub doesnt have its own input you will probably have to use the cable which originally connected up to the control pod.

you will need to use a splitter to seperate the signals but it should work.

or...

instead of this you could hook the speakers up directly to the receiver and just use that logitech cable for the subwoofer connection by using a splitter on the end and connecting up to the sub connection on the receiver with the right one.
should work...

what i mean by seperating the signals for examples is taking the green front audio cable and splitting it into two (one will be left front, the other would be right front) which you then connect up to the receiver speaker connections.

in retrospect the easier option is likely the second i mentioned (hooking the speakers up directly to the avr and just using that strange cable for the subwoofer only). this would probably give you better sound as well.

Hi just to make it clear, my sub is damaged as well, only the woofer is working, so buying the control pod is not going to help.to my knowledge anyways.thanks so much.
