I have an extra msi based micro itx amd e-350 cpu/mobo combo thats been laying around and i would like to set up a simple home server for media like music and video that is simple and can be connected to by various "newer" smart tv's/bluray players and my ps3.

Will this lil cheap low wattage piece be something that will work? I will probably only need 2 large 3tb hard drives which is easily found in the $110 range and will be more than enough storage for me.

I see places on the internet using 4-5 year old computers so I'm thinking the e350 should be good but I'm not sure.

Also, for an OS, do i need something special? Meaning can i get away with a free OS like ubuntu and will my ps3 be able to see it? Thanks y'all.
