Side Fan / Air Flow

I have 1 fan at the front near the bottom as intake and 1 fan at the back as exhaust, there's also a cpu cooler with the fan facing up so technically it's close enough to the top filters to act as an exhaust too...

The GPU fans are facing down and the power supply fan is facing up, I'm pretty sure they're both exhaust fans, I added a side fan that is pretty much in the space between, I have it as exhaust so there's no heat build up in between the GPU and PSU...is that right? or should it be intake?

Honestly if your temps for your GPU idle at around 37c without the fan it might not be necessary. I know other people may have different opinions on this particular matter but usually just the intake fan in the front and the exhaust fan in the back is enough. I guess what I am trying to say is that if it isn't absolutely necessary to have a side panel fan, do not use one; Otherwise if you want to use one the way you have it now should be fine :)

I think it depends on the case. My case has a intake in front and a exhaust on top and rear. After adding a side intake my temps actually went up probably because the side fan was messing with my air flow and blowing some of cold air that came from the front to somewhere where it wasn't needed. Air should flow somewhat like a undisturbed breeze.

i used to have an 80mm fan extended from the side panel using long screws and cut up bic pen housing blowing right up against my video cards. this was really effective until i had the bright idea to upgrade the fan to 120mm. this was useless....

so i was going to change it back but i was too lazy and now i decided to upgrade to a new single card so i might just take it out entirely.
i believe the smaller 80mm was better because it was a more focused air blasting right on it. in my opinion regular side case fans are useless.
