Hey guys.
Ultimate settings with a nice fps in BF4 is the goal.
I don't know if I should go the haswell way or the Ivy bridge way.
Then I'm not sure if I should go with the Maximus VI Extreme or if it's too overkill
and if the LGA1150 socket is the right or I should pick a motherboard with
the LGA2011 socket and then there is the CPU question again.

The build and pricetag is in this direction, but guidance is needed.

Motherboard:
ASUS MAXIMUS VI EXTREME - Haswell
ASUS Rampage IV GENE
ASUS Rampage IV Formula

CPU:
Intel Core i7-4770K - Haswell
Intel Core i7-4820K Ivy Bridge-E

Graphic:
ASUS GeForce GTX 780 OC - 3GB GDDR5 or
2x ASUS GeForce GTX 670 - 4GB DDR5

Memory/RAM:
Kingston HyperX Gen DDR3-2400 QC - 16GB
- is 16 overkill and does the motherboard support the 2400 hz?

Power supply:
Corsair CX750M - 750W PSU
- is 750w enough?

Case:
Cooler Master CM Storm Stryker
- does the Maximus fit?

Solution
For your haswell, you should go with the MAXIMUS VI formula
get the extreme if you want more than 4 GPU in SLI, or formula is sufficient

Take the GTX780 as the GPU, it uses latest tech and new architecture and certainly much better than gtx 670

The maximus VI can support 4 sticks of ram upto 3100hz in O.C. mode
and it also supports upto 32gb
16 gb is great, but having 8gb won't reduce your performance drastically
your RAM is great

Do not compromise on a power supply by buying a builder series,
this is VERY important, instead go for HX750 or AX760, both by Corsair

Storm STRYKER is a great case, the motherboard will fit in the case as the size is ATX

Great build, BF4 will run great, throw in a good SSD for best performance,
