Hi, I'm building my first computer later this year and have come to a roadblock in terms of what CPU to use. I will be using the computer to do things such as watch movies, browse the web, do homework, and video streaming. Also, I'd like to be able to play games like BF4 on very high settings, as well as simulators like Digital Combat Systems on very high settings. I'm looking for a fast and reliable computer that will last me a while, not consume crazy amounts of power, and not heat up like a furnace. So far, I have picked out the Intel i5-4670K, i7-4770K, and AMD FX-8350. As far as price, I can live any of the processors, I don't want price to be a factor between these processors. However, my price cap is around $340. Which processor would be the best for my needs?

Also, I know that this is not the right section, but what motherboard would work well? I don't really want to spend over $170, but the ASUS Gryphon looks good to me. GPU is a GTX 650 Ti Boost Superclocked.

My thoughts:

1.) The 8350 is plenty for what you want to do...

2.) You can buy a really good 990FX board for that money...like the M5A99X EVO R2.0 or the M5A99FX Pro R2.0 and keep some coin in your pocket.

3.) I would take the money you save going AMD and buy a better GPU. The 650Ti Boost SC is a decent card, but it's very mid-range. If you want to really run those games on high/max settings...you should get something like a HD 7950/7970 for around $250-300. The GPU is typically the most crucial part of a gaming build.
