My computer has been randomly losing the monitor signal and randomly restarting. I suspected temps so I installed CPUID HW monitor and all my temps seem reasonable except one of my MOBO temps reads 488.0C (not a typo). the other is 37.0C. What could cause such a reading? My system is a core 2 duo e8400, 4 GB RAM and a 560 ti GPU. My PSU is only 450 or 500 watts so that may also be the cause of my shutdowns. Any ideas?
