just got a GTX 760 gaming edition but i feel it isn't performing as well as it should. im running it with a AMD FX 8120 8-core, 500 W psu Asrock 990fx mobo and 8gb ram. HELP ME PLEASE.
i have seen plenty of videos displaying the power of this card but when comparing it to my old sapphire radeon hd 7770 i don;t see much of a difference.

Well.
We are not getting told the EXACT problem here.
Whats your FPS?
Also don't look at YouTube videos, they are unreliable.
What are the cards temps
What games are you playing, In what res and settings

well i just went through a few minutes on planetside 2. resolution being 1680x1050 on high settings i would hover around 25 fps. not in combat and standing still 60. when im looking around and walking 50-60. ill check my temps right now.

You definitely have some sort of performance issues. I get over 60 FPS on Battlefield 3 Ultra, using that graphics card and an i5 (3rd Gen) at stock, and AFAIK PlanetSide 2 isn't as intensive as Battlefield.

exactly my point. The only thing is that when i run battlefield on ultra it does just fine, 60+ fps . the when i run games like planetside 2 or mmorpgs like tera or vindictus i have frame rate issues. even when there aren't alot of players around me.

In that case, uninstall from control panel and then run ccleaner (freebie download) in the registry mode to clean up loose ends. Be sure to back up the registry when prompted just in case (I've never needed to restore, but better safe than sorry).

Edit: make sure you uninstall drivers AND CCC software.

how would i know if the drivers have been removed successfully? i went through the wizard to remove the ccc software and it prompted that the uninstall MAY remove the drivers as well. I'm pretty sure it did but i just want to know for sure.
